My Brother's Wedding

My brother got married this past weekend to a really sweet girl. We've had a great weekend full of wedding festivites. I'll let the pictures do the talking...since there's so many of them!

These two are hilarious together. This is what a 14 month old and a 21 month old look like giving "high fives"....it took them quite a few tries. Then Carter would get all lovey and start passing out kisses.

Carter and his pregnant again mommy...Congrats Chelsea!

the Beautiful wedding cake (it was funfetti cake)....yum!
They kept it clean....

There was way too much of this going on...people were clinging their knives to their glasses way too much.

Baby Carter couldn't hang...he need a power nap then he was back in business.

My cousin, Matthew, and me trying to "stay alive"...we attempted to have a reunion from Chelsea's wedding...but I don't think we can top that one!
It's weird to think that my little brother is a married man...In my eyes, he's still like 7 and pulling pranks on my sister and me...time flies too fast.

I WON!

If you don't read the Bakerella blog....you should really start. Like, today. She is so creative and whips up these amazing creations. Oh, and she also has great contests.

This is what I won! On my birthday! I can't wait for it to come in the mail. Although, now that I think about it, I maybe should wish to wait for it, because it's going to make me want to whip up some yummy cupcakes to display on my new cupcake tower.

How exciting! I love cupcakes.

We're in Pennsylvania...

The boys and I flew to my Mom's on Wednesday. I said many prayers the night before hoping for a good traveling day (and mostly for my Jackson to be on his best behavior).

Overall, the day went well. No late flights, no missed flights, no "accidents", only one temper tantrum thrown in the ATL airport (you can guess who did that). It was all good. Except that I wanted to beat my 4 year old, but I don't think that would have gone over very well in the ATL airport. jk. Sort of. Not really :)

The weather is perfect here. Perfect. My brother is getting married this weekend and the festivites don't really start until tomorrow, so we've had two super relaxing, unstructured days playing outside in the back yard, napping, cooking, drinking coffee, getting pedicures....more good stuff.

Jackson insisted on taking two pictures: one of his mama and one of his truck. Two loves in his life. This truck has been banned to the outdoors by me, my mom and my sister due to it's super annoying sounds it makes. And there's only one volume control- -LOUD.

There's Jackson's pic of his truck hauling some mulch, most likely to the grass where Nonna will get her panties in a wad when she sees what Jackson's doing to her flower beds.....

Charlie was napping at this point. I obviously needed to be showering at this point, but that didn't happen. oh well.

Jackson is Jekyll and Hyde. We've nicknamed him this. One minute he's happy as a lark, the other--he's the spawn of Satan. I know it doesn't look like it in this picture...but, I develop new grey hairs and wrinkles start to pop up on my face when he "flips his switch." I'm not real sure how to handle this yet....and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I might have to take up heavy drinking to cope.

Today is James and my 5 year anniversary! And we don't get to spend it together...he'll be flying up tomorrow for the weekend. Can I just say that 5 years has flown by at light speed? I cannot believe it. And it was full of pure joy. My babies were born, we've moved upteen times,(where did that word come from anyways and that part was not pure joy, just for the record), we've gotten to travel together and get to know each other's friends a lot better....the list goes on. Hey, has anyone ever heard of the 7 year itch? I have and it is intimidating me :0
The boys and I are going to my friend Kim's house today for a playdate lunch. There will be 4 babies/kids in attendance. I am looking forward to catching up with all of them. I'm planning on bringing the camera. Check back for some chaotic pics, I'm sure.
