We have had a really fun week...and it's not over yet!
We had a Superbowl party Sunday night....and our team won ;)
James and Tim cooked up some really good wings.
I totally didn't understand the "Who Dat" saying and the "Who Dat Nation", when I first moved here...but it's catching on as with a lot of other Louisiana sayings. Such as "langniappe" for example. And I'm not even sure I've spelled that correctly.
Our first Saints shirts! We'll hang them next to our Steeler jerseys...If I'm not mistaken, I believe these two teams are scheduled to play each other next season, at the Dome!
Our who dat voodoo Champy dog.
He looks real enthused.
Our grip couldn't get any tighter on each other, just in case you were wondering.
Looks like we're holding on for dear life..ha!
A Touchdown! It was rowdy in Gilmore house.
Charlie and Aunt Lana.
I cut his hair myself...not too shabby!
Tracey looking a little nervous. It was a good game! Lots of excitement and action.
I'm so happy the Saints won. They deserve it!
Um, hello? Guys? Other people are trying to watch the game too!
Down to the last minute.
We were all in shock!
Sweet victory! Do you see Payton Manning running off the field up there in the far corner?
Celebrating our win! It was soo cool!
Charlie doing his victory dance, sans pants.
It was loud and crazy and so much fun!
The Saints parade was Tuesday night in New Orleans, we weren't able to go, but watched from the tv at home. SOOOOO many people! More people turned out for the Saints parade than a Mardi Gras parade.
School was cancelled today. Guess it's supposed to start snowing here shortly.
We've got a Mardi Gras parade tonight so I've been cooking a huge pot of Red Beans and Rice.
We've got our trailer put out on the road and hopefully lots of friends to spend the evening with!
